    7M-GTE Build 650hp+ needs advice

What other 300hp+ rwd cars has he driven, anything turbo'd? I'd hate to see all that work go to waste if he crashes.

The "Hurry Up and Wait" build

Has lots of wiring info http://www.1jz.com/tech/docs/ The jz plug IH1 and IH2 is the ma B1 and B2... not much else correlates. chinozie.googlepages.com/Supra_MA70_Wiring_Manual.pdf is hard to read but helps some. Because I can't read it well, I'm having a hard time looking through the EWDs...

The "Hurry Up and Wait" build

A break in the wiring: from http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1627729#post1627729 "...Cross referencing info from the site that hvyman provided, to what I have in the car, reveals that the red, violet, red/white, and black are reference runs for TEMS. I'm still figuring out the...

    ??Plug Identity??

Thanks guys, that link is pretty useful. And using the part number on the installed harness (xx550), I find out that its really a late 88/early89 harness currently on my engine trying to mate with the late 89 body harness. Cross referencing info from the site that hvyman provided, to what I...

The "Hurry Up and Wait" build

Thanks Keros! The relocated oil filter lives on other side of the panel the windshield wiper reservoir is mounted to. The OEM IC fender pipe runs to under the frame rail for the bumper support. I suppose there is space at the driver bumper location, but I plan on having an FFIM setup in the...

    ??Plug Identity??

Issue: -LATE 89 (10/89) car -used a replacement 90 engine harness -The 90 harness is missing a plug for the 89 firewall harness: Location is above the HVAC from the firewall harness, where the ECU/ABS computers plug in. What will I lose when not using this plug, TEMS, PPS, Headlight...

Project Daily Drifter (56k... probably not)

any chance of getting an adapter with -10 instead of npt? of course it should be from the same manufacturer as the rest of your fittings (ie Earl with Earl, Russel and Russel etc) Spin filters are easier to get, and have a built in back flow preventer. the big plus of inline filters is the...

The "Hurry Up and Wait" build

Viewable Goodness: Been pluggin along last couple days. Yesterday seemed I couldn't work a solid 45min without interruptions. I wanted to be done on Sunday, but complications keep coming up. The latest is another plug that needs to be depinned and switched from my old harness to the new engine...

    Limequat's 4.2l I6 Swap

Doesn't the air-water intercooler still have a pump and heat exchanger of its own? That sounds like a nifty way to shorten IC runs if you don't mind the extra plumbing for the coolant runs to the exchanger it uses.

^^^ He meant use the ARP 4AG bolts for fastening to the crank. They're a tad shorter than the 7m bolts, can't really bottom out short bolts ;)

The "Hurry Up and Wait" build

I found your build thread Moy, I see about your EPC switch placement, it's convenient for the switch body. i'm still determined to install it in the Coin tray thingy lol

Project Daily Drifter (56k... probably not)

^^^ The canton filter cartridge, If I purchased one, I was thinking it'd go on the front of the slant for the shock tower, but that depends on the turbo intake. My remote oil filter for standard filters is on the other side of the panel of the windshield squirter fluid reservoir, maybe your...

The "Hurry Up and Wait" build

I haven't seen anything fuse related in either manual. I'll double check the accusump manual... 4 amp fuse in 1) of EPC manual, last line practically. " 1) Locate an accessory terminal in your fuse panel that is energized when the ignition is on. On applications without a fuse panel, an...

    Limequat's 4.2l I6 Swap

This looks promising, V-band clamp and some skill can yield results. Almost looks like you could retain the AC, with dropping the low hard line some. Is there some kind of sleeve to put over the coolant line feeding the heater core? That would be hard to get to later on if it split from heat.

The "Hurry Up and Wait" build

The EPC instructions didn't mention anything about fusing their switch, do you think a 5 amp fuse will suffice? The location of my 2qt accusump is clever but means removing the radiator when I go to have the AC flushed and charged, unless I can remove the alternator to get the room to pull the...

The "Hurry Up and Wait" build

Thanks for following along Moy!! Aeroquip pushlok -10 hose and fittings used here, for keeping down the abrasion and bling factor ;) I like the sound of the location of your Accusump, what size did you use? The EPC did come with a toggle switch I'll probably be using, switched off during...
