help me choose guys,
I currently have facelift trims on my white prefacelift na. there grey.
I also have to fit a set of jdm rear lights.
so would you guys paint the trims white so it would look like the colour sports package? or go grey? or silver? any other sugestions?

what are they made from? are they pure aluminium? or some kind of aluminium alloy? just i have 8 sawblade rims at my house and i was gonna take 4 to the local scrap yard along with a load of copper and some other odds and sods for a bit extra money

yeah i should imagine it will be better than the one i have in my shed, a £3 special lol i also have a cellotex or something like that aswell but its borrowed from a mate so i guess i should return it and use the fluke i got for free
basically its a mod to stop the click noise sometimes heard when the starter fails to opperate due to high resistance's in the wiring

right ill take the starter out and have a look at it. it only seems to do it maybe 1 in 10 times. so its very intermitent.
I could also take the oportunity to do the starter relay mod recomended on the uk site.
I have a strange intermitent clunk when cranking the engine. It seems to jolt the car when this occurs. though its only occasional. Im thinking either a broken / worn tooth on either the starter bendix or the flywheel ring gear.
any other ideas?

bounce test is easy. push down on whichever corner needs testing once and release the car. It should rise up and settle. if it doesnt then the shocker is blown
yeah id say blown shocker. try a bounce test to make sure. My ford sierra was doing this last year and it made for the most peculiar driving experiance. felt like the car was trying to go sideways all the time
cars is an na so no cps. has a dizzy.
hmmm sorry dude the wiring on your cars a bit of a mess. is the dizzy pluged in? as that plug looks about the only thing that it could reach would be the distributor.
check about that area for anything thats unpluged.

for the windows i found mine rattled because theres 3 or 4 little fluffy things that clip into the outer door skin. on mine they had rotted and fell out. also check the bottom nut on the window guide inside the door.

are the new keys from toyota propper keys, ie with the black rubbery plastic part with toyota written on it? and i take it from the other posts saying passenger door lock that i would have to remove the drivers door lock with mine being rhd
