    ^yes but you'd have to machine the ENTIRE surface, not just the contact surface of the PP, based off info from other sources I believe this is where the problem may be. Im sure it can be done, probably just not cost effective to machinists, idk.

    ^its a possibility. I think its more of a combination than anything of several factors, motor mounts being just one. IIRC someone had this issue even with solid mounts.

    264's are a mild cam, shouldn't cause much of an idle issue compared to its larger counterparts, 272's 284's etc. I would think your issue lies elsewhere. Start with codes.

    Personally, I see a huge thing wrong with this. Glad it worked out for you, but from experience just with 22 and 18, the maturity gap in that age category is astronomical. 39 and 31 may be one thing but 25 and 17 just seems like a nightmare to myself short of an occasional hookup.

    I wish i could but its simply unheard of to machine a PP. Talk to a machine shop and they will basically laugh at you. I agree with you though, I think they should be able to machine a PP, but as far as I'm aware it seems to be out of the question. And I agree its proper to have flat surfaces...
