    300Kmh Speedometer Gauge?

You could make it work, but the easiest way probably would be to use the UK face on a US speedo. The calibration is the same, the numbers are just printed differently. Not sure it's worth getting though, it doesn't change it much. Jeff

    300Kmh Speedometer Gauge?

The UK has MPH speedometers, and they do have higher ones than the USA as well, however they would of course be RHD. Jeff

    Its finally here! (Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86)

A little bit disappointed with the Scion FR-S interior compared to the GT 86, the loss of some of the niceties is probably due to it being a Scion and likely a lower price point, but I hope they release a "Sports" model or something which brings some of those elements over (Auto Climate, Dual...

    300Kmh Speedometer Gauge?

K's: Blitz: Alternatively you could also seek out a European 280km/h speedometer, which may be cheaper/easier to find. Jeff

    300Kmh Speedometer Gauge?

A few companies make them, one of them being Blitz which is more common. I found a K's one on eBay a couple years ago and bought it for Stanzaspeed, it looks much more stock than the Blitz one. There are also other companies out there as well, however nothing really common, and a lot of them...

    Power steering problem

I've seen some issues using PS fluid in older Toyotas, and Toyota does spec Dexron II/III for all of their power steering systems to replace the fluid. As for the original poster, in his profile he says he has a pre-89, so his car would not have PPS. There may be an issue with the valving in...

    Its finally here! (Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ/Toyota 86)

I like it quite a bit, looking forward to driving one. The boxer is different for Toyota lately (they've used them in the past), but I don't mind. The engine was designed by both companies, and isn't the same as any other Subaru or Toyota engine. It uses Toyota's D4-S system with a square...

    Built a smoker this weekend...

No thanks, I think I'll hang on to it. If you come to Calgary at some point, maybe we can arrange some sort of smoked meat meal though. ;) Jeff

    Built a smoker this weekend...

Know who else cannot wait? Me. Unfortunately I couldn't bring it back to my house in my car, so I have to wait for my brother to bring it by. :( Jeff

It's actually just high temp BBQ/Stove paint, but the effect is similar ;). Jeff

    Built a smoker this weekend...

Perhaps. I haven't done one before, but there's always a first time for everything. My brother's company is Epic Welding. :) They do cool things. Jeff

    Built a smoker this weekend...

Just wanted to share the smoker that my brother built for my roommate and I this past weekend. I haven't cooked anything on it yet, but I hope to in the next few weeks. It's all very exciting! MEAT! Jeff

Anyone seen this color MK3 before?

Which steering wheel was used depends on where you are. In the USA, that steering wheel was only used for 89, for Canada it was used for 89-91, in Europe it was used for 89-93, for Japan it was used for 89-93, but the airbag was an option. Jeff

Removing beep when door is open

It's not a walk in the park, but a nightmare is a bit of an overstatement IMO. I put a Supra integration relay into my AE86 to control a few things, it wasn't horrible. Jeff

Removing beep when door is open

Seriously if you just want to stop the beeping (not sure why you want to), but retain everything else, just pull the speaker out of the integration relay. Jeff

Removing beep when door is open

It's inside the Integration Relay No.1 mounted to the back side of the fuse-box in the driver's kick panel. Jeff
