Yes the ceramic coating on mine went 'spotty' after a rainstorm drive. Its still a major great upgrade on the car. Do not get me wrong I love my BIC and recommend it.

I will say that the extra cost of the coating isnt seeming to be worth it. Mine changed color a little over a month after running it (rain spots it looks like) then when under the car I notice that its rusting. It will look HOT when you first get it but the coating will apparently go away...
This is a butt wiggle forget the steering wheel. It feels odd now. If I roll I dont feel anything but when I give it gas it feels like slipping clutches like a shudder. It goes away but I feel odd on the highway now too.
This all started with me trying to fix the front end shake I had. I...

My Y pipe that goes to the cat decided to add a divorced option. (I take it to the beach a lot and its labeled an 'eyesore' by my boss)
Its been good to me for 6 years but lately hasnt felt quite right in the steering dept. its gotten a bit 'boatish' where you correct a lot...
It wiggles when the car first moves forward. It did not do this before the carrier bearing was replaced.
I had been trying to fix a vibration at 70mph in the steering wheel and now I have created a new problem.
The new wiggle is when the car first moves.
You could get it rewelded and it will be MUCH better. I did this with my blazer last year... Freakin Y pipe decided to add another outlet... Lil peice o metal and my friends welder and its been fine though 2 inspections.
I wouldnt trust epoxy there... Hell my BIC is already loosing the...
Well I have been trying to fix my shaking steering wheel.
I found the bar under the transmission loose and tightened it on up.
Today the carrier bearing was replaced. Now when I pull out the car wiggles. What the hell? This car hates me I tell you.
I was told its possible the rear U...
Well my other thing is I have the tanabe exhaust and there isnt a lot of room for any new geometry under there.
How much will a one peice change clearances? And will it ride as smooth or at least not shake me to hell at cruising speed?

Im actually undecided... New one peice driveshaft or bearing...
My worry is finding out that my rear shaft is worn out after buying the center bearing...
Im calling Jawsgear today to see what they need to get me one. Sadly this ends my 5 speed conversion if I get a 1 peice...

Im still trying to fix the shakiness of the car and put it up on stands.
I can move the rear driveshaft up and down in the bearing. The front one is harder but it has some side to side give also. I can hear it rub a bit.
Im thinking the center bearing is toast.
Is any movement...
Make sure you pull these from the block... I have big arms and hands. You will laugh but I laid across the engine from the drivers side and used a socket wrench. I have to give credit where its due a local supra owner told me to get gear wrenches and make a 14 mm wrench my best friend. Squid69...
Just as a heads up you CAN call Apexi... They were very nice with me and my set up. Nobody really could answer why mine was tapping like mad under boost. I had the rubber under it and realized I needed to loosen it up some. I ended up using lock nuts and the rubber it still ticks but not as bad...
Yes its been aligned... At low speeds the car is fine and is a normal ride.
As I said the suspension shops I went to were supposed to have checked everything that hasnt fixed the problem.
I have replaced the struts, springs, rims, tires (twice) and spring seats (rubber at the top of the...
If you look it seems they created at exactly the same time... I know my hands were greasy but they couldnt have slipped that bad...:naughty: :naughty:

Mine seems to come and go...
Im going to check the driveshaft issue this weekend and change the power steering fluid... Im wondering if something is bad on that end. Braking is smooth and until I hit 60 its fairly smooth.
80 is NOT fun..
