I know there is a bit of info out there on using an LS400 fan clutch and 7M fan when doing a 1/2JZ swap into an A70. I know Driftmotion sell a modified LS400 clutch with thinner oil. I have a new LS400 clutch on my 2JZ and decided to try a thinner oil to reduce the off idle jet...
I'm digging this thread back up. I'm looking at fabricating a new exhaust for my mz21, replacing the ratty 3" mandrel mild steel system i have at the moment. Ground clearance is a priority, So I'm thinking along the lines of that split system utilizing both of the cutouts in the rear sub frame...
It may just need a cap replacement some reference info fyi (yer i know they are 1jz specific)

I have an MZ20 Soarer with an Aristo 2jz/A340le conversion. Currently it has an elcheapo universal intercooler/plumbing kit installed which I despise because:
Firstly the hot side runs through the original air cleaner intake hole next to the right head light necessitating the need...
It goes without say, but the first thing I would be doing is testing the ECU in a working Aristo (i know that'll be tricky if you don't know anyone) Eliminating the ECU itself being faulty is a pretty logical first step. I can't see why it wouldn't run if you have a factory ECU in the conversion...
I'm going to dig up this thread becuase i've been chasing bushes for th rear of my mz20 soarer for a couple of weeks now with no luck.. That energy suspension kit is the best thing i've come across. However, Does it include the lower spindle bush i've circled below? I presume this is the listed...
interesting, Do you know what it should be? I don't think there is a spec in the tsrm otherwise i presume i would have measured it, could have missed it though. If it's undersized, do you think it would be possible to machine and sleeve?
