I'm getting real sick of this car If I didn't have alot in it I would burn it to the ground. This time pressed the clutch pedal in and pop there goes the snap ring to the pressure plate. Tommorow will be the 3rd time pulling the transmission out since Saturday. Any ideas anyone? what the hell is...
The C clip was bent back and the fork would not snap in.
The fork was held only by the pressure of the slave cylinder. I fixed the C clip now the fork snaps in by itself.
But before i reinstall the trans I want to make sure there is nothing else in there that would cause the snap ring to snap...
I had the same problem after dropping in a JDM engine, found out cam position sensor was out of time. Play with the cam position sensor or go on TSRM for proper adjustent.
drive the car shift in to 3rd around 2500 rpm then floor it check boost gauge
see if it holds. IF it drops you have a boost leak. if it doesn't your running
too rich. do you have any mods?
It's been a long pissed off day. I pulled the tranny out today at th shop
took about 45 minutes. Installed new pressure plate hub release and
all rings. Drove about 15 minutes felt real good. pulled it back in the shop
put it back on the lift to check for leaks, all ok put the vehicle in gear...
I'm having trouble uploading pictures of my supra on the
site it's telling me pictures are to large for the server.
Any help would be greatly apreciated.
