I'm glad i did it this way, way better than extending the harness plus the engine bay looks clean as hell because you don't see a harness. Plus, the existing stock hole for the original harness can be used to run other wires for a boost controller and the vacuum line.

Here is how i did it, i had to cut that white bracket as you can see in the first picture to get more length. I also had to remove the air vent that sits right on the tunnel to make it easier to pull thru, once you do that you can put the vent back in.

Mine worked out perfect i can take some pictures tonight when i get home and i will post them up.

I plan on using a 60 trim with supporting mods on my 1j. I will let you guys know how that goes.

You can hook up the w58 but you will be limited with HP because the w58 can't handle more than 300

I've searched and i can't seem to find a wiring diagram for a 88 NA M/T supra. Does anybody know where i can find one? Any help is appreciated!

So the shielded wire can be cut into, i've heard it has to be extended from plug to plug. Is this true?

I'm thinking about going thru the firewall because i don't want to risk messing something up while extending knowing my luck. So you drilled a hole next to the speedo cable one? How hard was it to reach under the dash and pull it thru? Did it give you enough room to play with?

I would love to do that, but i'm soo broke its not even funny. My buddy is pretty good at wiring, he's got a few swaps under his belt so me and him were gonna do the wiring. I was just going to see if anyone drilled thru their firewall so they wouldn't have to lengthen their harness.

Was anyone here successful in drilling thru the firewall?

I didn't mean literally stretch but thanks for the reality check. I was just asking how everyone else did it so i could see if there was more than one option.

So was the question ever answered, will the 2jz crank pulley bolt work for the 1j?
