Anybody know anything about the tail lights on these cars, i've got 12v going to the lights. My blinkers, brake lights, reverse lights work but no running tail lights. Please help i can't drive my car at night.
Parking lights meaning like your running tail lights that always stay on when your lights are on. The side markers on the rear they work but the tail lights themselves work, its kind of weird because when you press the brake they work fine but lights nothing.
I finished my swap and i was checking my lights and realized that my rear tail lights don't work, blinkers work when i step on the brake they work hazards work but when i turn my lights on the tail lights wont work but everything else does. I swapped my tail lights to 89+ rear lights i don't...
So you're saying tap into the brake booster vacuum but that vacuum source comes from the intake manifold also i can't why there would be soo much difference.
Well i just ordered the soft spring meanwhile i had this knock off greddy type s at home i tried running that and i'm still getting surge. When you say run a vacuum line from near the compressor where exactly do i run one from?
I can get more pictures, i'll take some this saturday and post them up. As far as aaron he stood me up for the ct manifold i had to buy my used from someone.
I just finished up my swap and i'm running a 60 trim ct 26 on my 1j motor. I have an aftermarket FMIC with hard pipes. Currently i'm running just a downpipe until i get the car to the shop so i can finish my exhaust. I'm running a greddy type R BOV. At idle when the engine is revved the BOV does...
I'm excited to see the results myself. As far as clearance i have a picture i can show you. The downpipe i got from optionimports fits perfect also, its the one that eliminates the turbo elbow. Take a look...........
I'm just finishing my 1j ct26 setup. As soon as its tuned and dynoed i will show the results. I'm running a 60 trim ct 26, SARD 540's, walbro pump, 3 inch downpipe and exhaust, boost controller, Safc, Spec stage 3 clutch, etc.
It would be even more easier if you could take the ac compressor off also. i think ( correct me if i'm wrong but its suppose to be a yellow/black wire that plugs into the sender itself).
