We'll on the way home from work last night the turbo exploded. The car died as soon as the turbo went. I tried to start the car to move that car off the road. The car acted like it was out of gas. It's starts up but won't idle, but when I feather the gas it will run. I've pulled the codes but...
ive been trying to find a wiring diagram for the alarm and haven't found one yet so i could do it right and by myself. but if not ill take it to someone.
i have been having an issue starting my car the past few weeks. it acts like the battery is dead, but i had it along with the alternator checked and the were great. if you jump it, it starts right up. one of my friends said it could be the alarm system that is in it and im not sure what kind it...

im going to check the TDC tomorrow on the crank and cams. and try to set the CPS. i haven't tried to start it yet. i want to make sure its how it needs to be first.
im not sure if this is how the CPS should be at TDC. im just trying to do it right the first time.:aigo: its driving me crazy now, this is the best i can get it to line up. i lined it up to TSRM. just not 100% with this CPS this is the first time with a car with out a distributor. any help would...

thanks man. i just dont want to mess up the old 7mgte. thanks fro the tip, its going to com in good use.
ill have to keep that in mind. im going to keep the old ones. they were in good shape, just wanted it to look good after polishing everything up after replacing the head gasket, valve seals, turbo, and a few other things.
ok just one more question. im not sure where top dead center is on the Camshaft position sensor. i just dont want to put it in wrong or mess anything up. im going to be setting the timing and putting the sensor in tomorrow, if my turbo comes in on time. i have the crank and cams all at top dead...
i am rebuilding my 7mgte top end, replacing the"HKS 1.2 MHG, arp bolts, water pump, dual 12 electric fans, valve seals, and all the vacuum lines". im going to be setting the timing in the next few days. i want to know what the best set timing for a mostly stock 7m.
any help will be great...
just be prepared to spend 800.00+ it just depends on how crazy you wanna go. ive already spent 1,100.00 and going up. should be putting it back together tomorrow or the next day.
while replacing the head gasket i ran across this. not sure if this is how it should be, it doesn't look to be correct. im not sure where this would have went.
