Sorry to ask but hows the quility of the manifold, Ive heard heard some horror stories from a few guys in my area, I had a friend put a "XS power" kit on his b20 Honduh motor and the manifold cracked after about 2-3000 Kms on it it just couldnt take it and this wasnt the first, I hope you dont have these problems and good luck on the project if all is well it should go like pretty good as long as you dont have too much lag, Any new pics of the build?

You are supposed to have the gas attachment on your welder, not your welding helmet! :biglaugh:
It takes a lot of practice and if you don't have the settings correct it can be very frustrating. The gas is really a must for clean welds, it makes it so much easier.

Hey guys another welding update, tried again on the stainless steal pipe. Came out a little better today. Also tried welding a 2 in. aluminum pipe and i think it came out a little better than i thought. Next update will be of my downpipe welded together. Enough of me talking, on with the pics.

I come from a land down under
Go visit a steel merchant and buy a box of scraps from their offcuts bin and practice practice practice!

This way you remove dirty old metal from the equation and you can perfect your technique :) .
