not bad for the first time with a welder. do look into a gas conversion, its makes the process easier IMO, plus as stated, better welds.

As Ian said, practice, practice, practice!!!!

The other thing too is that each person picks things up differently, like for example, Ian finds it easier to tig aluminum then steel, where I picked up steel far easier then aluminum. Now stainless is a totally different story no matter what process you use. (back gassing is very important when welding stainless regaurdless of weld process).... IMO, stainless is the hardest steel to weld. I'd rather sit down with some 4130 Chromoly or mild steel then stainless anyday.

yeah, something of that nature is all that you need to grind down the welds. One thing though, dont bother with the grinding stone that comes with it or which ever one you get. Pick yourself up some Flap disc's (pictured below). although they aren't the cheapest thing, but they are amazing and to think, they are sandpaper flaps. (80 grit works great for quick material removal). Be careful though as you can cut right through a peice of 16ga. exhaust tubing in short time.

if you weren't able to find them at sears, most hardware stores like lowe's and home depot carry them also.

on a different not, Hows the Scranton / Wilkes-Barre area doing? I just noticed where you are at. Its a small world. I used to live in Susquahanna and Thompson area right up the road from you. Its funny cause I know exactly what sears you probably go to unless they built another one in that area. I haven't been up there since the summer of 95.

Thanks!!! The oil lines probably cost me around $75, and the fpr's are from suprasport and they were $105. CJ the WB really sucks, I'm the only Supra Guy up here. That's all for now, my injectors and T4 spacer are on their way so I will have pictures by the end of the week.

Big ballers don't even use wastegates.

That's actually a carry on trashcan... used for storing and disposing the motor's garbage.

Wastegate... wastebasket... same thing.
