yeah im the dirtiest one there... i think the fact that i was sweating my ass off in there was why, its hard to resist wiping off sweat with greasy ass hands. That light was bright, but produced a hell of alot of heat. and that area of the shop has no ventilation at all. rah... fun times though.
We still have to get my white supra in a garage (cant put it in same one, no room left) and pull that motor so i can use that harness and ECU since the red ones was HACKED TO SHIT!!!
Still plenty more work to do!

haha yeah, thank god for my friends. Theyve both done the swap before too. And the best part, they work for beer!!! Empera is always a big help and my goto guy for advice. Id be lost without him around... hell i wouldnt even have a supra if it werent for him. but yeah i guess i am lucky! keep up the good work though suprahero, ill be around in a couple years to take the ROTM crown!! haha
Some of the best times in my life have been covered in grease and oil hanging with friends working on cars!

update...
Engine came... i didnt expect for it to have like, nothing on it. So i had to start taking things off the motor i took out.
-PS pump and brackets... cleaned and wire wheeled the works... looks nice
-alternator... got it nice and shiny
-PS resovoir- blingin
-wiring harness
-vac lines
-cold start injector
-Throttle body
-isc
I came home covered in black from all the wire wheeling... i also wire wheeled and cleaned up the valve cover gaskets from the old motor... thinking of either polishing them, or painting them for the motor im putting in. Suggestions?
Oh yeah, i also just finished painting the engine bay. Its black now. I used flat black engine enamel... 3-4 light coats and medium coat to complete coverage... then like 4-5 coats of clear enamel. All rattle cans... looks good. I prepped it by using an assload of degreaser... sanded out some surface rust... scuff pad it all, then wash with soap and water. $18 in materials and couple days work. im satisfied... ill get pics up soon

yep, i'm very unsatisfied... not to mention horsepowerfreaks having the motor sent to my house instead of the business address i specified and even cleared by calling my CC company. Instaed they somehow ship it to a rowhome. good job guys. not to mention i ordered it a month ago and the turbo has a good amount of shaft play.
hahaha i just took the camera battery off of the charger. Pics should arrive tonight or tomorrow. Its nothing spectacular, the valve covers arent even that purdy. Im in the process of cleaning up a pair to paint. I'll be taking many pics today!! I need to figure out how to get my body wiring and engine wiring back up to spec after the major hackjob the previous owner did. I'm searching for pics of the wiring so if anyone has something good for me pm me.
Damn thats wicked shitty news bud... My motor came the same way but without a fuckin turbo!!!! ya fuck rabid chimp but get some pics man!! good luck bro sorry to hear you were as unfortunate as I.. Ill get some more up today
Heh... And here I was going to complain that you have no way of knowing what the piston-wall clearances are, or the ring gaps... or hell, even IF rabid chimp TOUCHES the internals!

But hey, you guys have already found problems with it (not coming with all the parts, missing the turbo that is BLATANTLY stated it comes with - or a turbo with a bazillion miles + shaft play)
I'm going to do bolt on mods + MAFT-Pro (I'd like 300rwhp) until next summer, then I'll be pulling my 7M out to rebuild.

Actually on the ripoff chump web site, rabidchimp.com, it states in type, that the bottom end is visually inspected.. i am disassembling the motor and will be putting new rings and bearings if needed.. shits i know..
yours came without a turbo?! ouch. I have an extra if you're interested... I found a buncha problems with mine other than the fact they didnt even clean the thing up. I took pics but i didnt upload them yet.
-2 bolts on turbo flange missing
- a few bolts for the exhaust manifold dead loose
- They took off my fucking egr blockoff plates!(anyone have a set for sale?)
- J-tube bent( kinda kinked)
-valve covers are pretty shitty looking
-has turbo shaft play up and down & in and out
- Missing turbo oil lines
-no vac lines ( didnt expect the rubber ones, but atleast the metal)
AND THE FUCKING THING TOOK A MONTH TO COME... THEY COULDA DONE A MORE THOROUGH JOB WITH ALL THAT TIME!!!
Please, if you hear anyone is thinking about this motor, make sure they dont do it. Kick them in the throat if thats wat u gotta do. Im really mad i wasted my money on it.
