My HID fogs. Fog lights from a Toyota windom/ Lexus es300. I currently have 6000k lights I am switching to 3000k for closer to yellow . The cutoff is 14 inches above ground . Bright enough to drive without headlights. Not blinding to on coming traffic. I actually tested on dark back road with buddy being on coming traffic

No, I think I might be the first one? There are a few better pictures in the foglight color thread.

It was fairly easy actually.

1. disassemble brackets and swap sides. ( if you notice in my pic the right had bracket is holding the left hand light)
2 take fog light assembley and rotate 180 degrees and redrill the three mounting holes
3 Get a piece of thin walled pipe ( I used aluminum form Home Depot). them make a spacer to mount the fog light housing to the stock location on the inboard side and to the farthest hole on the outside edge of the bumper support ( faily evident when actually looking at support)
4 trim off the tab that may interfer with your fog light openings.
5 you may have to cut a slot in the outboard mounting hole to allow for in and out adjustment
6 mount it up for a test fit and adjust as needed.

If enough people want/need a better write up with pics I will go a head and tear it all down and document.

Thanks Turbo Hab....

Lots of awesome stuff in here, definitely love Duane's work. I'm also digging the aftermarket steering wheel with the intergrated cruise buttons, I've been wanting to do that in my car.

Very nice Matt, is there a writeup on that somewhere?

(mods: I tried searching but HID is too long, too short, or too common)

Jeff, it's too short. We don't index 3 letter words. Use a * after the word. Wildcard FTW. :)

Search: HID*

this would take some extreme modding, but if someone could rig up an electric targa remover like the del sols have.
