can you drive it out in the rain, or wash your car without worrying about water getting in? I've been wanting to do this, but thats the only thing stopping me from doing so... oh and that i only have 1 hood, lol

It's only intended to be driven in fair weather, but have magnetic panels(like those used for advertising)That cover over the vented area for washing/rain.

Almost forgot about my hood.

When the HELL did this happen?! :icon_evil I've been talking about, measuring planning, designing, and otherwise NOT making this hood for like 3 years now!

As far as weird MkIII ideas, I've had countless of those other the years..deliberate or otherwise. My "Toyota" front emblem's paint came off when I was cleaning it with carb cleaner, so now I have a "chrome" badge. I need to paint that one day.

Edit: I found your thread Toy fanatic...wow, beautiful job man!

Entirely :icon_razz. One of those unplanned things you end up doing and leave it alone for a while. This may also happen when you think you need to extend your delicate 20 year old instrument cluster wires and use overkill 14 or 16 gauge wire to fit reverse glow gauge face wires behind the dash and still have room to run the wire.

While we're at it, why not run open downpipe for a while, but have the pipe so low that when you reverse on an incline, it catches and literally picks the car up, bending it into a D pipe? :biglaugh: My poor turbo outlet flange..no idea how it does it!

I'm sure there are others I've done. Who hasnt?

I bet that made for a scary scenario when it happened, lol
