I wouldn't say they're HEAVY, but a bit more than I'd like to have stuck to the corners. Price is certainly right and they look pretty good too. May end up looking into those if CCW isn't interested in kidneys as payment.

Yeah, I've looked into it. I've budgeted $3500 for wheels and tires overall. Is that $3000 for a pair, or an entire set for the SSR? I've got my heart set on 17" though, I like traction more than bling, plus tires tend to be cheaper. I may regret that decision if they phase out 17's in 10 years, but who knows?rodel;1784139 said:Ccw wheels are priced reasonably. You may not have to give up a kidney. Maybe just a spleen. For example, a set of 18" CCW Classics, any width up to 16" costs $2300. In comparison, a set of 18x12 SSR MS1 will cost $3000.

-Make REALLY good friends with a GOOD body guy (check previous work, current work, etc, do your homework!)
-Buy another car to get you around while you're doing the body work. I fully expect to not drive my Mk3 for MONTHS when we finally get around to my project. It's a bit of a resto-mod though, so we're bound to run into issues or obstacles here and there. See the "Living with a Supra" thread link in my signature.
