I'm convinced they'll look good with my setup. Once the trim's back in place it doesn't look like as much of a gap as I thought. :)

Damn rodel, another group buy for these puppies?? lol Id love to get in on this!!! maybe this time i can actually afford em... lol So, with the sideskirts that you have on your mkiii, would they flow well? Ya catch me??

I think the widebody and the Abflug side skirts on my car could be pulled off. Get on the fender group buy for $400. After the group buy the price will be $500.

If there is enough interest to justfiy a group buy, perhaps I could get Shine to replicate the Kaminari sides.

The Kaminari front bumper would be way sexy, almost doesn't matter what sides are used. But seeing at least part of the Kaminari kit revived would be awesome.

The Kaminari sides are intended to help transition the rear widebody to the lower rear quarter panel.

I'd hate to disappoint anybody until it's all on the car. At the moment, it's a pile of parts. Granted, a beautiful pile of parts, but still a pile of parts. It is the world's most expensive car-bed that I'm aware of though. :p

Free plug for Shine though, nearly everything I have body-wise that wasn't made by Toyota, was made by Shine, and I couldn't be happier. :)

I meant that the front bumper is a great piece on its own. I have just the bumper, the rest of my car is all Wektor BM1 parts. I'm a fan of the Kaminari kit in the first place, though, and if it were available, I'd probably go that route if I were to pick up another mk3.

Another thing is that they're pretty easily widened. You can either section the center to match the wide fenders, or extend the sides like mine was.

Take some pictures of your pile of body parts and items. Curious to see what you have in the works.

Please show and tell.

Alright, alright, I'll get some pics in the next couple days. Don't have internet at my house so I'd have to upload from work. Currently painting the master bedroom, it's really the only place to lay out all these parts in "car shape". Still don't have these fenders or my CF hood though, so it's not *quite* complete, but that's all that's missing. :)

Patience guys. ;)

So this is actually happening what is every one going to run for wheels? I'm going to get 2 sets first off cheaper single piece rims and then later some jap 3piece when I get my old job back and actualy have money lol.

That being said the 1st cheaper set of rims I'm looking at are

18x10 +12 f
18x12 +0 r

Off using offset calculator I'm thinking the wheels should fit but before I lay money down if anyone knows otherwise I would love to hear I Want to run a 295 in the rear will that work with these rims/ rear fenders? I don't know how much stretch it will take

Mytymk3, you might be stretching a 295 kinda far on a 12" rim, would be smart to check with the manufacturer to see what they recommend first. As for wheels, I may end up going with some CCW's, but haven't really decided. Still gotta get a turbo, fuel system, some bushings, brakes, etc... my car won't be coming together any time soon on account of winter setting in. Hope to be done with it sometime late spring next year.

If someone's looking for some decent wheels at a decent price that would work with this widebody setup, here ya go:

I would be in if this for a standard kaminari side skirt. If you made one that suited a widebody, i would seriously consider changing my plans and going widebody.

They look good man, specs as above there? You posted 18x10 +12 and 18x12 +0... Mind my asking how much?

Again, mind my asking what these run for? What about weights? I wanna go with CCW's, but I'm almost afraid to ask what they weigh...

Heh, I will be honest, I didn't even CONSIDER the cost of wheels when I signed up. Didn't even think about it haha... makes me wonder if that would have influenced my decision any. :p
