Who do you believe makes or made the best factory turbo car? Toyota with the Supra? Buick with the Grand National? Volvo? Subaru with the WRX? Dodge with the Daytona? I know this is a Supra Forum, but there are other factory turbo cars as well.

Partial to the Supra as it's an amazing all around car (that and it's mine), but I respect anything fast and well done... especially boosted.

Nothing to do with Supra Racing/Dyno. Moved to more appropriate forum.

But otherwise, I think Porsche makes the best factory turbo cars.

Too many variables for me.

I do like that the R35 has included features that no other factory turbocharged car has had. LC and state of the art data logging comes to mind.

I vote for the Ferrari F40 if you consider it a "factory" car.

If not that then I say Porsche. Prolly the new 997. They are a sequential kkk stup. Very sick!

F40 is a good choice. I also really like the 288 GTO. Best factory turbo really isn't limited enough. You can't even begin to compare a Supra/GNX/300ZX to a Bugatti Veyron or Jaguar XJ220.

I personally would pick the Rossion Q1/Noble M400.

Car?

Lotus Esprit Turbo, imho.

For the average Joe?

Dodge Daytona Shelby Turbo III with Lotus 16v head + variable nozzle turbo.

Best turbocharged manufacturer?

Caterpillar, imho.

Doward, I would agree with how awesome the Esprit is! I love that car!! Just not too fond of the motor and trans, but if that was different then it would get my top vote.

I like the idea of the variable geometry turbos but doesn't seem very tested. Corky Bell is a pretty smart dude but I've seen way more impressive setups with fixed turbos. Google Bob Norwood sometime.

Swaq brings up a couple good points though. The Noble derived cars are awesome! I have a buddy in Glenwood Springs that let me tool around in a M400 and wowsers! Also Bugatti is a great example of awesome turbo cars. The EB110 was a sick car and the Veyron is pretty intense too.

I agree with too many variables.

Most power?
Best in the 1/4?
Best looking?
Most reliable?
Ability to push more power?

I could make a list a mile long...
