What about the fastners for the bottom end after removing to check the bearings?

Make sure the rating on the Thermostat is 82C and I like to use Stant. I got my thermostat from Toyota and the stock 2JZ is a 82C thermostat.

You mean the rod/main cap fasteners?

It is a Stant t-stat, RockAuto has cheap prices on most of the things you'd buy in a local store anyways.. I'm not new to this ;) Thanks for the help though!

I know your not new because your not asking, "what's does it take to put a 2JZ in my Supra."

What are you doing for the bottom end fasteners? ARP is always a good upgrade but that is your choice.

Nice, let us know how it goes. I am no longer getting a 2JZ for my other Supra, just going to build another 1JZ I found. There is something about having a 1JZ and beating a 2JZ that I can't explain. :biglaugh:

So,
When I placed the order there was no option for the "liftgate service", although it WAS mentioned on the website. So, I called and had them add it to my order, no problem. They charged me the $50 extra and that was that. I noticed however that my invoice never changed, it never reflected the extra $50, but without concern I just waited.

Today I get a call from the shipping company (as expected) trying to schedule my delivery. Wait, there's a problem.. It's a residential neighborhood and I *didn't* opt for the liftgate service.

Livid, I call the importer, and they say OH ok no problem, sorry, we will pay them the money they need to get it delivered. I call the shipper, and they say they're waiting on the payment to deliver. They will call me back when they get it.

Although I DO understand how this happened (the invoice never reflected the service, so whoever processed it never paid the shipper for it) that doesn't make me not upset that it wasn't delivered today. Hopefully I can still recommend them based on the quality of the engine in terms of accuracy from the info I saw on the website.

and I wait ..
