Tun_x, are you lowered? It doesn't seem like it but I'm trying to gauge how a 27" tire would fit on a slightly lowered car.

Those tires look good though. Any videos of you at the drag strip?

27" will work w/ eibach springs. its real close tho, but still doable.

jag- 26x10.5x16. full on slick you will need one step lower on the width (slick is measured tread width, not section width)

i think for most of you guys the stock mk4 TT wheels with either mt 275-40, or m&h 275-50 will be really good, and they will clear decent size brakes. Duane what size are you running out back? 4 piston 13in?

i just went 11.9@141 with the 275 -50 m & h's i bogged pretty bad, or it would of gone low 10's easy.

How's the drivability off track with those? I may just swap my rears permanently.

dont know i dont drive around on those. victor from f&h will be a better person to ask since he drives on those all the time. but i wouldnt drive on them in the rain, its a little scary, especially if you are making HP.

Getting a seperate set of wheels for the track will extend the life of the tires dramatically and you'll be able to have that serious grip at the track without compromise when you need it. If you frequently drive on the street you will most likely save money in the long run by buying a seperate set of wheels to mount your drag tires on.

I have 3 sets of wheels for my Supra right now actually :) Summer, Winter, and Track. The reason I asked is that I have grip issues on the street. If he says they're deadly in the rain, that's reason enough for me to NOT run them all the time.
