Where in Florida do you live? All I have here is a bunch of civics, integras, and neons that wont even line up with me because of the Supra badge.
Fort Walton Beach, north west Florida panhandle area... Even the Neons around here are pretty wicked... lol... We have two Airforce bases and a Naval base, so you have alot of young guys with alot of expendable cash... What better to do than dump it into a car, right? So yeah, its a rotation... There's always new guys coming around with new, fast cars...

HKS drag 7m.

800+ all turbo from a destroked 7m :naughty:

It was also street legal in Japan at the time.
And that was the 80's I believe. Maybe early 90's. It ran 8's.

I recently picked up SSC with Duane Stevens' ride. Considering the grunt down low the car made becuase he had the turbo built that way, I no longer see 800 rwhp as a problem, if you have the money.

If you have nothing intelligent to contribute why post? I have read some dumb shit in forums, but damn.
I could say the samething for this "Genious" of a post you just contributed to this thread. Mind your damn business and if it bothers you that much use the ignore feature. I've read alot of your posts and i have to say quite a few of them are just you slandering other members.

just two words to describe you: Keyboard Warrior

as far as 900whp on a 7M your going to need a big turbo and a nice high rev limit..

Honestly guys, I prefer the 7M over the JZ crowd. More stroke = more mechanical advantage, all other things being equal (which they aren't, stock :()

Surpra90: Are you fingering your own sig in your avitar? lol...

So basically it seems to me that we need a 7m shop car.. HPF needs to sell that mk4 and get a mk3.. that is all...

NDBoost/Joel: If you get real close, you can read "this is boring". I posted that in OneJoeZee's 1JZ swap thread and that's his finger flipping my post off.

My answer: Not everyone wants 800-900rwhp supras. The turbo required to make that kind of power is going to be very laggy, and that takes a lot of the fun away. Then there is the fact that 95% of the time your 900rwhp supra is going to be making only 500rwhp because of no $10 per gal C16 is in the tank. A guy on supraforums just dynoed his MK4 at over 1100rwhp with a GT47-80. Check out his dyno gragh, it doesn't look like the turbo STARTS spooling until just past 5000 rpm. I bet thats fun driving in the city.
