here's a pic of my setup. 18x8 +40 and 18x9.5 +35. 235-40 and 265-35 nto5's. the car is lowered on h&r race springs and kyb gr2's.
i need to space out the wheels 15mm in front and 10mm in back.

I'm going to buy W.Emotion XT7 rims at the good price. But i read this discussion, and now I have much more doubts about this buy.
Rims all are 18" - 9,5jj, ET 30.
I have JZA70 (w.body). First of all: how do they fit? I don't want, that wheels touched side panels. Also there are fears that roadability will worsen, with such wide front.

I am about to buy some new front tires for my works. The offset is 18x8 +35 with a 215/40/18 tire at the moment and I am lowered on stance coilovers(I rub slightly/will raise it up alittle bit). I am going to get a set of nitto nt55's but I am wondering if I should go with a 225/35/18 or 225/40/18 tire. If I rub slightly with the old tires which new size would result in less rub/less raising of the coilovers or should I go with the old sizing?

thanks

I have been thinking of 17x9 + 15 (maybe) all round 5zigen fno1rc bronze colour
or
17x9 + 30 enkei RPF1 all round

Any thoughts?

I run the 17x9 +15 for fronts and like it. Running about 5 degrees camber with no fender roll on Eibach/ Tokicos. Rubs only the fender liner on hard turns.

The +30 will sit more flush with the fender, so its up to what you like personally.

Very nice, cheers for that.

I have been offered 18x9.5 +15 all round I think this may be a little bit too big. I'll try them on and see though

I run 225/40R18 on my fronts and they clear perfectly, however, when I think of going with a 245/40R18 like you have... Im thinking two things... Drop the width and height of the fronts. The height may be all you need (someone else may know that better than I).
remember.. 245/40R18 is 40% of 245 mm high (you probably know that), so a 35R18 will drop it by 5% of 245mm, which may be enough to stop the rubbing.

So I've been looking at rims lately and I know nothing about sizing lol. I was looking at the XXR 527's and i was looking at getting them in 17 by 8.75's with a +25 offset. I'm trying to get flush with my fenders. Will this sizing make it flush or What size do I need to get to get it flush

Finally, i received my wheel.
Model : Varrstoen 1.1.1
Rim size for all 4 : 18, 9.5 width ,+30 offset
Tire : front 235/40/18 Rear 255/40/18 Yokohama avid enVigor

In front, I will need to roll...or push where the 2 screw tighten the plastic inside guard and it should be ok, I hope.
In rear, i'm not sure at all. I tried to compress the wheel and it look like it will clear. I also tried to jack the car on the opposite side to compress the wheel but it look it doesnt camber the same way so I dont know if its a good test. Let me know please.
I would also like to know if i should keep the rear wheel that size or go with the 245/40/18 instead of 255. It would help to clear the rear lip + car height will be more even front to rear.

This would be quite similar to 18x9 +22 then? I may be picking them up tonight if they fit nicely.
How do you like this set up would you change anything? I'm planning on being 50mm lower all round (around two inches)

How come the front needs rolling? in the photos yours looks like it's going to clear, I am pretty sure I will be as low as you also so do they rub on full lock? Rears need rolling in your cars or are they sweet?
they are coming off a s15 with 215/40 rear and 225/35 front :nono:

Rear are ok, front rub when wheel are almost full lock (turning in a driveway, etc.)
It may clear on your car since your tire are thinny.( too small for a supra)

I didn't grab them, the guy came around and I measured them, they were not 18x9 +22 they were 18x9 +10 so they stuck out about an inch from the guard on stock height, didn't want to cause myself any further hassles or costs made on a bad decision. THE TYRES HAD AT LEAST AN INCH OF STRETCH AROUND THE SIDE WALL........
