I was wondering if these rims will fit. They come with 20, and 40, offset. They are 17x8. Would it look better to have a greater offset in the front and less in the back to get them to stick out a little meaner?

They are the TSW Snetterton, just google to look.

17x8 +20 all around would look best with 245/40s on all 4s.

it's better to get lower offset in the rears so it's not sunken in. . .

Whats would be better? I dont want to spend a ton on rims and they looked pretty good. I dont know much about rim brands

18x9 0et 235/??/18
18x10 0et (maybe -5et?) 235/??/18

i kno i will need camber and fender trimming, that it not a problem any comments/recomendations?

Sounds like you understand what you are getting yourself into. They are going to stick out of the fenders pretty severely and the tires are too small for the wheels.

Recommendations: Get some wheels that will actually fit the car and then some tires that are big enough for the wheels.

I looked at an offset calculator online and it said that a 17x8 rim with 20 offset would stick out 28mm farther than the stock 16x7 with 35 offset.

Sounds like you understand what you are getting yourself into. They are going to stick out of the fenders pretty severely and the tires are too small for the wheels.

Recommendations: Get some wheels that will actually fit the car and then some tires that are big enough for the wheels.

notice i said i will run camber so it wont poke severely, and i perfer to stretch the tires.

Check out my sig. Front and rear fenders are flared out. 10.5+18 rear, with a 15mm spacer (equal to 10.5+3). The 9.5+30 front with a 30mm spacer (equal to 9.5+0)


Fender trimming will not be sufficient. You have to flare out your fenders.

You could run 225/40/18 front and 245/35/18 rear.

you'll need to stretch the tires a bit in the rear and you can't go too low or you'll rub. . . i was running 19x9.5 +24 with 235/35/19 and 19x10.5 with 265/35/19 tires and was rubbing if i lowered the tein ss to where i couldn't even fit a finger in between the tire and rear fender. . .

Rub even with a rolled fender? Damn i was kinda hoping i could fit 275 on it.....I want to leave about a finger gap between tire and fender. Would I have to screw around with camber settings to get it to look right like some other guys on here have talked about ? Thanks for your reply!

XXR (Sportmax) 502's in chromium back.
front- 18x8.5- offset 35, 235/40/18
rear- 18x9.5- offset 35, 265/35/18

Rub even with a rolled fender? Damn i was kinda hoping i could fit 275 on it.....I want to leave about a finger gap between tire and fender. Would I have to screw around with camber settings to get it to look right like some other guys on here have talked about ? Thanks for your reply!

Yeah mine was rolled and pulled a little bit, though you may get away with a little bit of camber, but may still rub. . .
