i was just wondering if anybody has tried this they fit with stock springs, but i also launch my car at 5grand at the track

The bolt pattern is 5x114.3 with a hub bore of 67mm.
I really don't know much more. I know a 35-38 offset works with our cars stock but I dunno about these as the ad was vague.

Hey guys, well after finally gettin some money for my veilsides its time to get some new rims.
Am currently tossing up between two different types as to how wide they are n offsets.
First set comes in 18 x 10 (+18) Front and Rear
and the second set 18 x 9.5 Front and rear (+20)?
and if so what would the widest tires possible for the set up.
Fenders will mostlikely be gettin pulled or rolled at the very least. Hoping to get as close to 265 wide tires as possible. cheers guys.

You'll need quite a bit of fender modification to make those wheels fit. You'll have to go either wide body or cut the oem fenders and use fender flares. As a reference, my fenders are rolled and pulled outward, so that I have about 1" more clearance over simply rolling fenders.
The front wheel is a 9.5+30 with a 30mm spacer, which is equivalent to 9.5 zero offset. Your wheels will stick out 25mm more than mine.
The rear wheel is a 10.5+18 offset with a 15mm spacer, which is equivalent to a 10.5+3 Your wheels will stick out 34mm more than mine.
after posting on this thread that i wanted to with 19" wheels all around. I did decide to go with 18".

18"x 10" (+35) 265/35 in the rear

My questions are :
Do I need spacers and /or would i still have to pull the fenders in the front or rear with this setup?
The reason I am asking is cause I can tell if he pulled them (i doesn't look like it)

will the K-Sport Big Brake Kit fit underneath 18" x 9" (+38) in front &

They say the kit fits wheels 17" and bigger. But, if I am going to have a clearance issue is there a way to change the wheel offset to solve the issue.

Why do people get anything over 17"rims? I was told 17"s are optimum for performance but that may have been drifting... I dunno.
Anyways I'm going to get 17"s soon and I want to get as close to the best possible drifting combination of rim size and tire possible.
From reading the first 10 pages of this thread I'm hearing "rubbing" is a factor to be wary of. By rubbing is it meant laterally or horizontally?? I guess anything over 235 is a gamble?
I have a 89 5spd 7mgte that's gonna stay gutted for a while. If I'm understanding this right, for drifting you want the minimalistic tire specs as possible and lateral ground on your rear rims for better control?

I was wondering if these rims will fit. They come with 20, and 40, offset. They are 17x8. Would it look better to have a greater offset in the front and less in the back to get them to stick out a little meaner? And what tires would be a good fit?
