TheseDrag 38 17x9.jpg Drag wheels DR38 (17x9-38), fit very well w/o fender rolling, pulling, nor do they rub the fender under a hard turn. They required I reset the wheel stops to account for the greater width than stock wheels. They are shod with 255, 40 series, BFG g-force, Sport Comp2.

Got 2 xxr 527 on Craigslist for 150 ordering the fronts tonight

Xxr 527, 17x9.75 rear +25 offset - tire size 275-40-17

I had to roll the insider of the fender. Still runs if I hit a good numb over 45 mph but not alto I think if I didn't run such a wide tire and stretched it a little more it wouldn't rub

I'm looking to put the new XXR 531's on my Supra in 17"

314075_10151113889186393_586469633_n.jpg

My options are:
17x8 +25 +35 (1.75" lip)
17x9 +25 +35 (2.5" lip)
17x10 +20 (3" lip)

I'm dropped maybe 2" with Tokico Illumina II's and Eibach Prolines. I do not plan on rolling my fenders. Currently running MKIV rims with 235/40/17's up front (w/ 10mm spacers) and 275/40/17's in the rear.

What's the largest I can go with these? I figure the 17x10's are out due to their offset. Would the 17x9 +35 be the way to go on all 4 corners?

Whats up guys. Im new to the Supra scene and excited to get started with my project. So first and foremost I would like to get started with wheel fitment and offset.
My car is an 89'' Mkiii Supra. The specs that ive been thinking of is 19x8.5 +25 235/40 up front and 19x9.5 +20 255/40 rear. I was wondering if it will fit or will I have to roll or pull my fenders? Looking to have the tire tucked behind the fenders about 1/4-1/5 up. The reason Ive been looking at 19" is because Ill be putting a lip kit on it later and just want a moderate drop. Plus I want the wheel well filled up to go nice with the kit and think 18'' will not only be to small but if not dropped enough will be too high and look goofy, too low and the lip kit wont last a month. Im not looking to build this car to race and bash on. Been there done that. Im 33 now and only want for show and look good going down the road with an occasional run on the highway. Thanks and would highly appreciate the feedbacks from you guys.

After searching through this thread, it looks like I can get away with running 17x9 +25 in the front and 17x10 +20 in the rear. Do you think that I'd have any fitment issues?

^ was actually about to ask if anyone was running those was looking and kinda liked the size for 17's

im thinking of doing the 17x8 +35 up front and just the 17x9 +35 rear not sure how i feel about doing a 10 for how low i have the car don't want to roll

had 9.5 +35 before think it would have needed a slight roll? with the ride height im at, atm im on tt wheels

Just ask Rodel, he's a member here and that's his beauty

This is the link to his build thread.. I think it lists his wheel sizes...

http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?128771-Notorious-M.K.3.

I think he rolled and pulled the fenders though.

Thank you for providing the link to Tysan.

All of my fenders are rolled and flared out. Front is 18x9+19 ...then I added 15mm spacers. The rear is 18x11+23, no spacers.

I foresee 18x10.5 and 18x12 coming in the future. :naughty:

Okay. At this stage of my build I am looking at getting a BBK to compensate for my 2JZ engine, which will require 18" wheels to fit them. I see that 18x8.5 offset +35 and 18x9.5 offset +35 are a standard, but I am also running Tokico Illumina IIs and Eibach Pro springs on top of all this. Additionally I would also like a staggered look to the fitment, so these are my parameters I face.

What is a proper and realistic size in 18" wheels, along with proper tire size and name of manufacturer, that I should be looking for, taking into account Illumina IIs and the lowered springs? I would really like to NOT have to roll my fenders, but if this is a necessity I'll need assistance with that task. Lower cost (like around $100~$150 per wheel and same for tires) is what I'm shooting for, followed by namebrand and looks.

i had 18x9.5 rears with 265-35's on them. lowered on h&r race springs, and stock fenders. no problems at all. i could have easily gone with 275's.

Front: 18x8.5 with offsets in the high 30s
Rear: 18x9.5 with offsets in the mid 30s

Your budget will allow you to get wheels such as Rota and XXR brands.

my new ccw 505a 18x10 with 265/35r18 front and 18x11 with 295/35r18 rear,
mkIV offset plus 10mm spacer up front and 15mm rear
lowered on cusco zero-2
will need fender roll front and rear to get the car a bit lower
i got good clearance on coilover but verry close to the traction arm and i didnt fit my beech performance yet, i will probalbly need 25mm spacer and a good fender pull to clear them
