ohhhh I get it now!! it's a percentage!! not an actual height... I see I see... so ie: 225/50/16 the 50 means the sidewall height is half of the width... is that taking into account both sidewalls (top and bottom/ opposite sides of tire sidewall)??

which is why on a narrower tire, the number will be a higher percentage to keep the tire the same height as the rear? learn something everyday

I've been lookin for wheels and came across varrstoens in 17x9 +30 haven't seen this size up in this thread but curious about fitment cause I don't really have the option of rolling/pulling my fenders at the moment :(

It should clear with out fender work.

Just ordered some XXR 521's in 18x10" +25 all round. Going 245/40R18 up front and 265/35R18 out back. What you guys reckon? Will I need a lot of work to the fronts? Im not too low at the front.

The fender just has rolled lip, and camber is prob like 3 deg... Need to take in for a wheel alighnment lol.
But prior i was running 235/45 and only 1.75 deg camber. (with same wheels)
Did u ever fit a 275 under ur front spiller? I remember you saying you would love to if you could...

post up some close up pics wob, wold definitely like to see the fitment! How did you achieve 3 deg camber, are you're coilovers wound right down or do you have adjustable arms? The most I have ever run is a 245/40 but i havent had a go at more camber (wheel aligner said he couldnt get more than 1.25 due to a bent component - the old excuse) but i have some 270 slicks here that I want to try and fit but the profile is huge so I dont like my chances haha.

Anybody have experience with this setup:

REAR
RIM: 18X10 +35 offset
TIRE: 275/40R18
-Rolled fenders
-New H&R Springs on New Bilstein shocks

Did somewhat of a mock up today with no weight on the rear suspension, seems like the 275/40 tire will rub even with fenders rolled...
Didnt have time to use the jack to lift up the suspension (simulating the weight of the car), and I dont have bolts yet for the wheels - so I couldn't lower the car down to check for rub.

Just got them rolled today, paint chipped like a bitch... so I'm going to have to touch it all up underneath there...
Will find out if it actually will tuck under there in the next few days when I get some wheel nuts...

*crossing fingers!*

for a set of 17 inch rims, sizes are front 9" +20, rear 10" +30. What size tires do you guys recommend? I was thinking of either 225/45, 245/40. Or 245/45, 275/40. I want an aggresive stance/fit. If u guys have other recomendations feel free to post :).

Bor,

Based on this guy's picture of his car, his setup is pretty badass. He said he is running,

XXR 521
18x10 +25
255/35 Front
255/40 Rear
sitting on saggy Eibachs

How do you think it would do with a larger tire? Maybe a 275? I don't really want to stretch a 255 on a ten inch rim. I plan on running coils as well.

Thanks.
