Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

An inch? Are you confident that a Roll alone will make these fit? I am looking to get a wheel and tire set up similar to this for traction / performance / look.
Do you have any pics of the front from say straight on or over the fenders to see how much it sticks out both in front and rear? This is almost exactly what I was thinking of attempting so these pics or any info you can provide would be of great help. Thanks!

I have still to hold a photo shoot on my car. Weathers not been ideal, but got more shots of the set up. (using iphone haha)

*edit* had my bbk's installed a few days ago. Running on -5~ camber fronts right now as i needed negative camber arms and extended nuts and, spacers to properly fit the brakes in.

So you said that you rub out back, with a good roll do you think it will still rub?
Also for the front, Does it rub right now with the current offset?
I am trying to do 18X10 all the way around with zero rub. I am not going to be slammed because I like to be able to go over speed bumps LOL.

What offsets would you recommend for me to prevent rubbing? I am open to rolling if necessary but if it can be avoided Thats a plus. I dont care for a huge stretch on the tires either. Once again Thanks for all of your help.

If you're car is not lowered then you would be ok and not rub unless you hit a hellahard pot hole. Feel you on the Stretch tire, I'm not a fan of it neither. For my back with a roll it wouldn't rub. Anything with a +30 will not rub and some 265/35s all around

I having trouble finding wheels that suit my tastes and budget, maybe I'm not looking in the right places. I'm looking for either 5, 7, or 10 (evenly spaced, no split) spoke wheels, 18x8.5 +30 18x10 +45, and I wouldn't mind a lip. Doable for under 1k, and where at?

Hi guys wondering if any suggestions for tire size on 18x7's +35 offset.

I dont beat on the car, its just original so i'm putting on a set of Lexus wheels to keep it all Toyota so to speak.

I was looking at the 225/40's, This is a good tire choice?

wide body kit. or some heavy pull + roll + stretch tires, but if you do that you'll for sure need to repaint the fenders cause what you're running is extreme LOL. I'll just go get the wide body kit ><''
OR you could run that "oni" camber like them vip guys lol.
Judging from you wheel selection and tire sizing, that's def not your style so i think only way is wide body or some kinda body work.

Here's a tip for anyone who's aggravated with the wheel websites that don't let you search by wheel size and only spit out weak fitments (like 17x7 and 18x7.5) for the Supra. Search for wheels for a 97' Ford Mustang Cobra instead. The OE wheels on it were 17x9" and the wheel websites show wheels in the 17x9 +20 to +35 range for that car. Perfect fitments for this car if you're looking to put 17x9" all the way around without rolling fenders.
