Whats YOUR special trick for getting into reverse?

It says right in the owner's manual...

"If it is difficult to shift into reverse, put the transmission in neutral, release the clutch pedal momentarily, and then try again."

Keep in mind, the proper lube in the tranny makes a hell of a difference as well...

Royal Purple made a world of difference for me. Now it goes right into reverse with no effort, used to grind before.

I have a habit of putting it in 1st then reverse but my supra goes in to reverse fine without doing that.
My old truck you had to do that so I got in the habit of it.

Another way is put it into R before you turn the car on, and keep your foot on the clutch until you move..

I think we've had enough input on how to get into reverse. There are many ways that work, and as far as I see it, there's nothing left to discuss.
