I didn't notice any power gains from replacing the silencer with a straight pipe. It just looks better with a straight pipe imo.

The best set up is a true cold air injection...

Use two civic short rams or the autozone one! N/A go from the intake mani, to the air box the get the other one and block off all holes then feed it threw the hole under the passenger head light. Then slap a K&N on the end of that pipe!

Turbo is the same set up just use the ebay alum. accordian pipe!

It sits right at the fog light hole and works as a cold/ ram intake!

Enjoy the top end power!:evil2:

You got any pics if the finshed look. i already got one of those autozone intakes just need one more.

Here is my setup, if I had an NA.

Custom intake pipe, powder coated black. Not a eBay pipe, but my custom pipe which fits perfectly as OEM.

Stock airbox, keeps the cops happy. Also, the stock airbox ONLY breathes outside air, so its a cold air intake from the factory

K&N insert

A duct from grill, to scoop incoming air, and running to the front of the airbox.

I have tested this setup and shows great gains at 35MPH plus as far as intake temperatures.
