whats your intake set up?

im looking into cleaning up my engine bay, and ive seen some people have used intakes from civics and accords. what works? what years?
ive herd someone say they had a 95 civic intake but wasn't sure on the year.
and others used one from an accord, but no year. what are you using??
pics would be sweet too. thanks.

Currently I'm just using a the stock accordian hose w/ resonator to a K&N oem replacement filter that I got for free from a salvage place.. cleaned up great tho!... but yes, I too am looking for a hardpipe to replace my nasty, duct taped, restrictive stock intake.

I used a probe intake but that took some serious cutting...was a waste in all honesty:biglaugh: But the 95 civic intake does work, read this thread I'm pretty sure it has all the info needed on the topic.

There is a vertical shaped tube that runs from the air filter. remove it. get a dremel and cut the entire face of the cannister of and smooth it with some wheels and reconnect oval tubing with ac duct running down to where the cold air is. It's just an air shoot to a stock k/n filter. they are 50 bucks, doing this keeps you in stock k/n filters. leave everything else alone.

for like 10$ plus shipping and put a 3 in k&n filter from autozone. i wouldnt use the filter it comes with, ive heard horror stories

The best set up is a true cold air injection...

Use two civic short rams or the autozone one! N/A go from the intake mani, to the air box the get the other one and block off all holes then feed it threw the hole under the passenger head light. Then slap a K&N on the end of that pipe!

Turbo is the same set up just use the ebay alum. accordian pipe!

It sits right at the fog light hole and works as a cold/ ram intake!

Enjoy the top end power!:evil2:
