inaccurate tach's and speedo's? pretty strange...my tach needle matches my speedo needle in 5th gear :nono:

Indicated 135mph @6000 rpm in 4th... With my car, it's probably more like 120.

When I had a 1j, I got it up to about .........faster than my brothers C5. I don't know what that computes to, but it's all I wanted at the time.

I've done 140 (what the speedo said), I believe it may have been over but not sure how much though, I have an 87 N/A all stock everything. I was at about 5300 RPMs I believe, not 100% sure though. Let off because the whole car was shaking because it needs new struts and brakes all around (yes i'm looney and still went that fast). Oh and it was open highway. It was very fun, lol.

damn. my setup is pretty funky (W58, 3.91 LSD with 275/35-18 all around), it was already off ~5mph to begin with, now after new wheels and different diff, it's between 7-10mph off, maybe even more :3d_frown:. I hate to see how it REALLY is over 100.

Hey IJ, just another reading please? what would my speed be @ 6000 rpm? my speedo said 120 LoL. i was cruising with my buddy and when my speedo said 70, i was actually doing 85 :aigo: your 4150 prediction was spot on.

why are these things so innacurate?
