One night after work I had a buddy from work follow me and radar me with his PC, speedo stated 141, radar confirmed it as 138.7mph @ 4800rpm auto, 90, basic mods (intake, exhaust, boost set to 10psi, FMIC, Hardpipes, HKS BOV)

Remember guys the stock speedo is very inaccurate over 100, list RPM and rear tire size please.

hmm...my speedo is already 7-10 MPH slower than what i'm really going...i wonder how inaccurate it is over 100?

well, my old 86.5 N/A did 135 on 235/55/16 in the rear with Tokico Blues and H&R's.

my current 89T did 125 before it redlined. I'm currently on the W58 with a 3.91 LSD with 275/35-18 all around. I'm running on Tokico Blues and Eibach's.

155mph is the fastest I ever went in my 87 turbo 5 speed, was still pulling I don't remember the rpm but there was quite a bit to go I remember that, and the car was solid like I was running 80-100mph, could have set the cruise, I have driven it 125-130+ for more than 3 miles before and it handled great. MKIII Supra is definately a Top End car.

*Edit* Tires were 225/50/ZR16's

Completely stock 1990 turbo with 7mgte & 3.73 dif with 255-40/17' rear tires
on the same AZEV rims that I still got: 270 km/h on autobahn at 6.100 rpms
with 6.250 redline (7m crank)

With my 2jzgte full bpu and same tires.... just 190 km/h
...cause of the speed limit on the jdms motors.
Now I do have the speed cut defender on my car,but I haven't made
a top speed run yet.Soon my friends,soon ! :biglaugh:

I was hesitant to see my oil pressure below 40psi at cruising speeds...I couldn't imagine 6000+ with 25-30psi. :aigo:

indy_mk3 - Yes, that's a Garmin nuvi. ;)

They are the bomb.....:biglaugh:
When my speedometer stopped working, I used that as my speedo.
Stock speedo is useless anyway, with my 18" wheels, it was almost 7mph off.

I come from a land down under
It seems to vary and isn't linear.

I get mine calibrated for 100 Kph/60 mph but usually have the GPS in the car so drive off that. (at the moment it's 10 Kph out all over after the change to 3.5:1 diff gears)
