about 90 miles an hour..

I don't know if it's the gearing of the W58 and N/A LSD, but my shit seems to top out super fucking early...

even on my new engine it feels like it's peaking out way too early..

I'm guessing that your NA with that dash. If you have 245, 45, 17's with a 4.10 differential, in fifth gear you would have been going 126.8 mph. Sorry.

EDIT: I checked and you are turbo so I recalculated it with the 3.91 gears and you were doing 133 mph.

at 120 you have a slight chance of living, at 200 you may not be so lucky. I guess if you have to wreck at 200 the salt flats would be the best place to do it since there's nothing there to hit but air and opportunity.

I got pulled over doing 130, but had the car to ~160 earlier that day, fastest I've gone is ~180 on a ZX7-RR.

With 6 miles of 4 lane highway, not a vehicle in sight...

I opened it up to achieve 164 mph with my 88T.

Stock A340E at the time, 3.73 gears...
I was right 6,150 rpms at my max.

My adrenaline was rushing too quickly to be able to tell if it had any more in it, but I know that I don't start bouncing until about 6400...
I backed down to 60 before I went complete WOT, and I've got to say, 60-100 seemed like a mere 3 or 4 seconds, 100 to 120 was still "throw you in your seat", 120-140 was still watching the needle burry itself pretty quickly, and anything after that, I stopped paying attention to anything but the road in front of me.

Unlike some of you losers, I have evidence to back it up. ;)

I have done 140mph gps confirmed, was reading 150 on the speedo 5500 in top with r154 and 3.73 diff. I think it would have easily gone on to 160 if I had held my nerve and there wasn't cars about 300 yards up the road doing 70 - 80. Only took about 1/2 a mile to get from 80 to 140 two's up and pulling 15psi on a stock ct26, with 3" exhaust and drop in filter.

I have a naff video of my gps going from 80 to 130.

I had my single turbo FD rx7 up to a GPS doc'ed 165. Scary scary scary.

Scarier.... pulling my Nova drag car down from 145 mph at some of the outlaw tracks I've been to with short shut down areas. I've locked those itty bitty discs and drums up and came within 6 inches of nailing a huge stack of hay!
