I just had some 550cc US mkiv injectors sent out to RC for flow testing and cleaning and I also received a sheet that stated each injector only flowed 450cc. Anyone else?

Boostage said:so whats the verdict? 2jz purple tip 550's are actually 440's?
so if people are making 500hp on whats really 450's. technically aftermarket 550's (that are actually 550's) should make 600hp.rakkasan said:So far, the only documented proof (flow charts) says that the purple tops are 450cc

drewgo said:431 but I blew my engine....LOL
Keep it at 400 to be safe.
86_sports_1jz said:how did you blow your 1j? was the injectors not feeding enough fuel making you run too lean?
Zazzn said:i was consistantly around 480 WHP on purple top mk4 injectors I never had any problems with my 1jz.... I did the 523 run once and back it down because when I added fuel pressure, I went leaner probably due to running out of fuel pump LPH @ high pressures.
Nice setup!drewgo said:Don't Go by the sheet to determine your Highest HP rating.
I put down 485 @ 22psi on my 1jz with a -15% on my AFC. Meaning
there is still room for growth. Stock ECU, no cams or any other internal mod.
Just stock fuel rail with the 550inj, AFPR and GT-40.
