What's the deal with USDM 550's?

Why are people using their correction amount from their fuel management system to try to say that the injectors are not flowing what the data sheet obviously says they are flowing? The ones we had flow tested were the same injectors people said were 550cc, and they were NOT 550cc. There is no reason to believe anything else until someone posts a data sheet and part number that suggests otherwise.

Not true, on 440 I made 431, I was messing with the gain and I up'ed the boost
about 1 psi and boom blew my engine.
If we are breaking into the 5xx's then they cannot be 440's.
I had 440 just a few days ago and dropped in the 550's and my car barely idled cuz of dumping so much fuel. So I know for a fact that they are not 440's otherwise my car would of idled.

You missed the "most" part. I'm not arguing that all USDM MKIV's came with 440's, but it's apparent the some, if not most, did.

Ok, I have been doing some research on this injector thing to determine what im going to use and came up with this interesting page.

According to the Denso part number for the USDM injectors they are supposed to be 540cc injectors, but as our actual tests show they are 440's. I know its not new news but its interesting none the less.

Well, I know there are MK4s making 500s with stock fuel, so that would lead me to believe they're 550s. But if some tests of supposed 550s come out only 440s after cleaning and balancing, well that's enough for me not to play around with it.
