Where did you get your covers from? i got mine from Redline and the colors are way off.

I finally got my JDM MK3 on Sunday from Japan this thing is ahead of its time it came with a very rare factory option for automatic headlights also the best part is the digital cluster. The car is so smooth and quiet inside it is amazing and it really takes you back in time just sitting in it also the 1G sounds like a turbine almost it has a nice mechanical whine to it. Some friends and I are going to give it a really good detail and bring out the blue pearl.

I already have wheels for it I need to get tires, coilovers, JDM momo steering wheel, and just maintain it until I do a 2jz swap.

Love that dash.

Pretty sure my headlights in my 88 are automatic as well if I leave them up.

That interior looks super clean. Funny how we got the digital climate control and JDM was more manual

Yea I found that weird but I like the manual controls it fits well with this car. I finally drove her home and had to see the cluster at night and it looks awesome I freaking love it.

I forgot I mentioned it on here lol. It needs an overhaul suspension wise because there are few knocks over bumps and full lock turns but I know what I need to replace to fix those. I plan to get coilovers maybe Teins this time since my white one has BCs and I do like them but want to see how Teins are or maybe if I can get a set of HKS Hypermax IIs.

For the knocks over bumps that may be your subframes. Retorque them and it may go away, mine did. There's torque specs in the TSRM, it's a maintenance item that is commonly neglected. The full lock turn knocks are probably the little caps that go over the steering stops, they break off because they're plastic and then it's metal on metal rubbing at full lock.

Thanks I'll look into those. I remember the subframe re-torque I did that on my white MK3 and they were still torqued to spec.

Very nice ride Doat.

As for mine, I replaced the thermostat in it because it's been running hot. I ordered one from Toyota and I got some new red antifreeze while I was at it. I replaced it, it still ran hot. I was certain I'd burped the radiator correctly only to find out my new electric fans are blowing hot air on to my radiator instead of pulling air through them. I'm going to check the ground and the wiring tomorrow and get it right.

Thanks guys. I love getting the ass end out on my white MK3 it's so satisfying and fun and easy to control and predict. Every time I want it to slide I can call exactly when it happens or when the tires are fighting for grip and feel the ass slide a little then hook on sharp turns.

Just the usual drive, wash drive...but this am coming back from very nice breakfast date....and :naughty:

I pull up next to a Maybach in the 92. The owner turns head. to see what kind of car is producing the sounds that we all are familiar with. We have a brief discussion. He loves his Maybach only way to get to the office(with a driver). Complimented the supra and said he had a few toys....ummm okay his amg did 207 or so at the TX Mile :aigo:

Sorry no pics of the Mayback. :3d_frown:

Doat--

I got mine from Redline, too. I made the mistake of initially ordering the Medium Gray for no other reason than that's the color my interior looks like to me. It turned out to be WAY too light. Redline took them back and sent me the Charcoal replacements you see in the pics. For those of us with gray interiors, Charcoal is the way to go from Redline.

I'm glad you like your digital cluster. I had a red '83 MkII that my dad liked so much that he bought a blue '84 when they came out. He got his with the digital dash and always liked it. I've always been an Red-Manual-Analog guy myself.

I would recommend buying the samples from RedLine and matching them to your interior. That's what I did, and it turns out the "Saddle" is a great match tot the burgundy in my 87. You get the money back from the samples when you order the actual covers too.
