Well, I work at Toyota where I had this done, and so it cost me a case of beer (given after the job was complete of course!), the hourly rate for the tech, plus his materials. Ended up being a little over $200 including tip.

Apparently it costs between $500 and $800 for a new car. Theres a machine that literally cuts out templates by VIN. However, the computer only goes back to 1993, so the detailer did my entire car by hand - front bumper, nose piece, mirrors, fenders, rocker panels, gas door, and door handles. It literally took him an entire work day to do my car. There are 3 techs here that can do the clear bras, but this guy was phenomenal I would highly recommend him.

I am pretty sure that any Toyota dealerships offer this service, but you have to find someone willing to do the work by hand since our Supras are too vintage for machine templates lol. The material isnt really meant for the curves on our cars, either, so the front bumper and mirrors are tricky. Have to really find someone whos been doing it for a long time who can cut it right.

Before I took this picture I had already told him twice to get down which he did both times, and both times I turned the hose Back on rinsed the mud off my hood, and when I returned from turning the hose off he was right back up there

Happened a couple days ago, but the original damage is from a freightliner changing lanes into a quarter panel. And the final product is after Miracle Workers pulled the dent, painted the rear quarter all the way up the roof, and down the other sides b pillar, buffed the whole car, polished all the trim pieces, the wheels, the tail lights, and touched up a ton of scrapes and such. 2840 bucks.. I'm happy!

I won't be driving mine for the next few months... Winter is here, and the Supra is sleeping.

While she's in mothballs for the winter, I plan on getting a start on the new audio system. Nothing as fancy as what I used to have, but it will probably feature 6.5" door speakers and a couple of subwoofers, and maybe some sort of video system as well.

Looks like they did a really good job. Has the whole car been repainted before or is it mostly original?

I got a quote a few months ago to have my front and back bumpers along with the headlight covers painted (battery acid damage from stupid dealership I got the car from) and was quoted $1100 or $900 if I remove the bumpers myself. Does this seem like a reasonable quote? I've never dealt with any sort of body shop before.

The ONLY spot that wasn't factory paint was that quarter panel. They took it down to bare metal and went from there. The 2840 came from around 32 hours of body work. For a simple scuff and repaint.. I would say around 5-600 would be a decent estimate.
