I replaced my driver side door hinges and door today, the hinges were shot to hell, had to lift up the door to close it.

Door closes like a dream with one finger now! Took me about half an hour to get the alignment just right though lol

Did this myself a couple weeks ago. Soooooo much better. For some reason my driver side looked just like yours with rusty pins but the passenger side is perfect.

Mind my asking where you found replacement hinges?

If you're like me and don't have a good place nearby to get parts from, Toyota can still get new ones but expect a 2-3 week wait.

Installed the new wire harness I just built. Checked codes.. nada! Just flashy flashy like I hoped for. Time to wire up my fuel pump and see if she runs.

Looks beautiful. Mind if I ask where you got the wire? I'm contemplating redoing mine in the near future.

As for my addition to the thread. I replaced my steering rack bushings (OEM) and inner/outer tie rods (Moog) yesterday. Drives like an absolute DREAM now. Somehow I lucked out and didn't need to adjust the settings. Although it will still be going up on a rack next weekend.

Awesome, thanks for the tip. Don't shop at my local Toyota dealer (long story, shady business), but I have sources. :)

Cylinder head cover number 3, as well as both cam covers. Seepage from old age. I also have my oversized 29,000 BTU trans cooler to install.

Actually, that website in your thread "SuperBrightLEDs" lists lots of WLED bulbs for that #194 bulb, and since I don't have my dash torn apart I can't tell which one to buy. I also can't really tell from your diagram which one it is, do you have the actual WLED part number I can use to order it? Thanks!

Almost took a 5gal can of gas and a match to mine today. Couple of days ago I felt I had licked it's cooling issues. Took it for an extended drive today and temps were great even in 100* temps this afternoon in AZ. My son heads out with it this evening and calls me down from my bedroom about 30 mins later...says it's spewing coolant. We pop the hood and coolant had sprayed ALL over my once clean engine bay. The f'n L shaped hose under the water neck/thermostat housing blew a hole and pretty much emptied my coolant system into the electric fans which in turn blew it all over my fn motor. Sumbitch...

That hose is the biggest pain in the rear to get to, much less replace. I had to do mine as well, went ahead and changed the fitting that it goes into from the front since it was near corroded apart.

If you haven't done it already, also replace the 90deg. hose in the back of the engine as well. Either one can give a boatload of headaches.

Changed my T-stat with a shiny new OEM Toyota one....and even tested the old one beside the new one in a pot of boiling water -- yup, old one was fucked....wouldn't open. Also wired up my e-fans up to a manual switch for now, until I can troubleshoot why the temp controller wasn't working...though I suspect it has something to do with the coolant not flowing, so the hot coolant wasn't moving from the top tank down through the passages, so the probe wasn't triggering. In the meantime, I can live with a manual switch...it'll get me going tomorrow after I put the new AFPR in.
