What annoys me now is I replaced the trunk hatch stops and the weather stripping, squeaks went away for awhile but now it's back and it's a high pitched squeak like the hatch is barely moving and rubbing on metal.

I did the clay bar and then used the Griot's Garage One Step Sealant on my car a few months ago. I couldn't believe how amazing it looked.

The real surprise is that it took scratches out of the plastic trim as well!

Hooray for clean Supras!

You could get both, and if you mess something up you can put in the autozone one, and if you don't mess something up then you can return the autozone one and spend the money elsewhere.

I kind of rather have a new part instead of trying to keep my current one alive; then again, it's not really a new part but it's very clean.

I want to give the rebuild kit a try but at the same time like I said I am not comfortable drilling into the CPS because it's so small and a pretty crucial piece. Fudge it I'll get a replacement and give them my core to save like $50 or so. Peace of mind is priceless.

You should start a build thread.
Heh maybe i'll enlist somebody to be camera man, I generally get to involved with progressing to the next step and rarely wash my hands to take pictures. I'll do a build thread soon, hopefully it up to par with many i've seen before.

MY WHOLE LIFE IS A LIE! I got the title to my supra today and it says its an 86. I look at the door tag and it was made in January 1986. So my Supra is an 86.5. Not an 87 like I thought...
