The base of the windshield is a high pressure area. It won't do anything at speed. At low speeds it may do some, but a factory cooling system in good shape with air blockers in place will do just fine.

That's awesome, Doat!

I ordered an OEM EGR cooler gasket, mine is leaking. Also, how much would that gasket leaking affect boost? Ever since it started leaking, I havent seen over about 4lbs, a little under the middle mark on my boost gauge. Im assuming they are related, just not sure if there might be a second related issue.

Wouldn't a leaking EGR gasket be like having an exhaust leak? I'd fix that problem before hitting boost just to be on the safe side because when I had an exhaust leak I couldn't hit full boost either so I played it safe and replaced the gasket and torque the nuts properly then have fun with the turbo.

First vid was the very first time we turned her over. The revving you hear is a vacuum line that was forgotten towards the back of the motor. And the second vid just speaks for itself.

We had an issue with one of the gas lines leaking where it turns upward to the engine, so Seth fixed it with another adapter piece. Oil pan leaked when we ran oil inside the motor, but that was because the drainplug wasn't tight. Simple stuff.

Now we'll be putting in all the coolant stuff like rad, fans, hoses, etc..., getting the wiring shielded, ECU and igniter mounted and shielded, the fuse box mounted, and the extra gauges installed. Once all that is done we start tuning her.

Just a little more to go
