I run a tial with 9psi spring, i think they recommend the 11psi spring. The 9psi spring blows off easy, i hear it "whispering" while in vacuum driving normally.

My tial Q did that with the stock unpainted spring....not good as it will let unfiltered unmetered air in if using a stock afm! At idle the bov stay open about 1/4"! Switched to the pink spring and now it's perfect!

Here's someone talking about it.

There really isn't that many videos or sound clips for this bov. Its nice i like it alot

Any of yours? haha

I know there aren't many vids or clips, it's not a common valve, especially in the states. I have a Sheepdog Prof exhaust. Only one I've heard of over here. Looks EXACTLY like one of the Tanabes... but I think mine came first :biglaugh:

Yea, I heard of the sheepdog exhaust but haven't seen one. I really like the bov tho :) lol but nah, none of them are mine, I didn't get a chance to take a video of my supra this year. There's a local that claims he has a video of my car, so i guess if i get it i'll put it.

i know this may sound dumb but, are the TIAL bov's recirculated? just by looking at them, i can't really tell. i'm still running the afm, so i had to recirculate my Greddy RS bov.

only valves I like the sound of are the Sheepdog (only heard in videos), Greddy Type S (bird chirp), and the HKS SSQV. But that's sound

The Greddy Type-RS sounds pretty much identical to the Sheepdog PROF.

Honestly, you should just spend your money once and buy a quality valve, not a knockoff. I'm not saying that knockoff's don't work good, I'm just saying that when the life of your turbo (and possibly engine) is at risk, I'd rather go with tried and true quality parts
