ok, i'm sittin in atl now...anyplace outside the loop that carries it locally?

It's a tough one to come by retail. A lot of places refuse to carry it because it's so "subversive" - that in and of itself should tell you that it's something you want to read. :)

If you're in a semi, you COULD try the bookstores in any of the malls, but you'd be luck if you found a copy.

You can order it from Javelin Press, but they are a little restrictive on forms of payment:

  • Cash - preferred. Cash orders receive autographed copies when available!
  • Money Orders - payee to be left blank to make them freely negotiable.
  • .999 Silver or Gold Coin - contact us for current exchange rate.

Or you can order a copy off Amazon.

I'm reading Demian (by some German philosopher dude), a biography on Jim Morrison (The Doors), and "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance".

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance is an underappreciated book. Currently reading Dragon Reborn, book three of the Wheel of Time.

The Wheel of Time is a pretty good series. Whats better is the newish series by George RR Martin.

I've been reading William Gibson books recently.
Neuromancer, Count Zero Interrupt, Mona Lisa Overdrive, and now Spook Country.

Finished We the Living and have now moved on to The Virtue of Selfishness.

I have a whole stack of philosophy and economics books waiting for me...

I've read parts of The Republic, it's a hard book to get through.
