So does that mean you get to drink all the extra booze? If so, sign me up.

"God damn brewery! You know that brewery makes 10,000 bottles of beer a day. I drink 45 of them, and I'm the asshole!" ;)

Sounds like a fun job. Im a line cook at one job and a pizza maker at another. I do alright tho. Im gona open my own small breakfast/lunch/sub place in a year or 2. Gotta save some money for once! I cant wait to see how much better the car rides/handles with that awesome bracing job on the rear subframe and all the refreshment in the suspension. how much does that whole assembly weigh? it looks massive but i wouldnt know!

Tim: LOL, we get several free bottles of high end booze for the holidays. And being that I'm one of the few non-union workers, I get fringe benefits. ;)

Isphius: Money certainly helps, but you have to make sure you're not overworked, as then you won't have time for anything else, and nothing to spend the cash on. ;)

I got an OEM Group-A Duct in the mail yesterday. Does that count? LOL.

LOL. I'll post pics of that later, I suppose. I'm waiting on a few parts, so when they get here, I'll update with some interesting stuff.

LOL. Not so much progress. I've been ridiculously busy lately (overworked to the max). As it starts getting cooler out, look out for some updates. I've got all the pieces to re-assemble the rear subframe, just no time to really do it, and when I do have a little time, I just want to relax! :(

Mo- I'll let you know when I plan to work on the Supra. We've got some catching up to do!

Nope, not yet. I've been a combination of busy and slacking all at the same time. I'll likely be buying an entirely new trunk pan direct from Toyota. That's the plan, anyway.

I just got motivated yesterday, too, so it's funny you should bump this thread. :)

I suppose I'll update:
For months, the reinforced subframe has been sitting in it's new gloss black paint in the attic of the garage. Yesterday I brought it downstairs, and placed it on a small dolly under the Supra. Saturday, you might see some progress, as I plan to start re-assembly. :)

Nice work Chris! I'm going to begin working on my car again soon.... real soon! I've been craving turbo noises, RWD, and sideways-ness more than ever. I feel it's time.... lol

Yeah I've got a good one out of my supra that i cut out of the way for the fuel cell. It's in great condition, which is why I still have it. Same deal as Bryan if you want it.

Hey stranger! Thanks! I hear that. I picked up a new summertime daily driver to cure me of that urge for a wee bit until the Supra is done. :) ('95 M3)

Sick! Man, I've been slacking on the car so bad. It's wood-cutting season, and my family burns firewood all winter, so we've been cutting like mad-men! Just got done today. Maybe now I'll finally have some time for the car!

That'd be awesome. My hatch floor is FUBAR. It's got lots of nasty, scaly rust on it, and the spare tire well is almost bottomless. That would be sweet to pick yours up, as I was planning to buy a new panel from Toyota!

Sick. :) I appreciate the offer, both of you! I gotta get some spare time in my life- it's been sucking pretty badly as of the recent months!

Maybe I'll get a chance to work on it next Saturday... (fingers crossed)

Well I guess I'll update Chris' thread for him :)

Last weekend (Nov. 9th) Chris and I drove down to see Bryan (Slow66) to pick up a few things. Chris FINALLY got his "new" trunk floor. It's in really great shape. I also picked picked up Bryans CFX CF 2" Cowl Hood and 1 Piece Driveshaft.

We decided to grab a bite to eat and catch up since it had been a while. Our first destination was Applebees. Our server brought us our drinks (I had a Killians Irish Red YUM!) and within 10 minutes, the entire restaurant lost power! So I got a free beer and we decided to go to Ruby Tuesdays. Right after we ordered our meal Bryan got called into work. We got the food to go and drove to the hospital where he works. Shaeff and I were eating in cafeteria while Bryan was doing some type of medical procedure lol.

On the way back to NY, my CF hood began to fly away. Chris and I ended up pulling over on I-84 and re-securing everything. Trying to avoid oncoming traffic, we ended up doing a good job. Everything made it back to NY in one piece.

All in all, it was a fun and interesting trip. I've come to realize something is always going to happen. It makes it entertaining ;)

Mo

Cliffnotes: Drove to see Slow66. Picked up trunk floor, CFX CF 2" Cowl Hood & 1 Piece DS. Got stuck in an episode of ER (or Grays Anatomy, whichever you prefer) and almost lost my hood on the way back. That's about it. ;)

LOL, thanks for the update, Mo. Here are the pics of the "new" hatch floor. Better pics to be posted when I pick it up from Mo's house. ;)

By the way, Bryan- shoot me your PayPal addy!
