I'm pretty sure my heater core is failing. So using Solid Works, machinging skills, and silver soldering skills, I'm going to design and make one from stainless. The only question I can't find an answer for is what the flare, or bump, or whatever you call it is on the copper tubing that protrudes through the firewall into the engine bay used to keep rubber hoses from slipping off metal tubing. I don't know the name of this type of swage or flare. Once I have the name I can find a tool to make it for the ends that connect to the rubber heater hoses.
Thanks in advance
