I'll check it out on youtube after work. I never watched much of the older Transformers. I watched alot of Beast Wars, though.

I haven't seen any of the new anime transformers, I've got all episodes, unedited of beast wars and beast machines on real player format on a few cd's.... Beast wars was awesome, didn't care for beast machines (beast hunters) as much though...
Best epsiode of beast wars EVER was when Optimus Prime came back online for a moment when Optimus Primal was in front of him.

It's been a while since I've watched any so I don't remember exactly the origin of them other than they crashed onto the planet and had to use Beast forms to protect against the energon. Are they supposed to be just incarnations of the first transformers or just a completely different set of people. Megatron was the only person that had the same name... but alot of the characters are similar. Like Dinobot was always treacherous, overconfident, and challenging Megatron like Star Scream.

They were different transformers altogether, expect the spirit of starscream, which was in one or two episodes, and one of those cassett decepticons that soundwave had, the black cougar, forget his name.
No, the spirit, or "spark" of starscream was in one or two episodes of beast wars, he inhabited waspinator during that time. According to the series, starscream's spark is immortal and he can't die...

The CG graphics in the first season of transformers sucked big time, but a big difference can be seen in the newer episodes. I liked beast wars for the sole reason of it including the orignial transformers in them. The timeline that beast wars occured was right after episode 3 of the original transformers and XXXXXX amount of years before they woke back up in 1985...
