All the pick and pulls rule, 2 in San jose, 1 in Oakland. 1 in Fairfield I think

don't bother with the one in fairfield. I already raped every worth wild part there. theres also one in richmond off Hilltop Mall. they have a few there. I was rushed so didn't get a chance to snag much.

I hit around 110-115 in my NA in 4th gear. Now i did have some "stuff" in it, and i know the speed was mostly accurate, because i was right next to a newer acura, and he told me the speed, and it matched mine.

Theres NO reason to take the car past like 120, unless on a closed course.

gotcha! yup, mine was origionally a fully loaded NA.. just trying to figure out how it'll boost with such a low ratio

Well, it is still a 3500 lb car with only 180 CID trying to push it. You should load the engine just fine.

Depends on ratio

3.9:1 = 140 @ 6000
3.73:1 = 147 @ 6000
3.9.1 in MA61 says 264... kmph or 164mph rev limit of 7000rpm.

Haven't tried was pulling strong at around 200kmph or 120 mph though:icon_bigg

How hard is it to install the lsd?
help:1zhelp:

The turbo LSD will have longer gears. Slower acceleration but a higher top speed. The NA has the short gearing to help with acceleration. People often change the 4.30 out for something else because they are sick of the high rpm's while driving on the freeway. The 4.30 was the only option my car came with, and I will never remove it from my car (Unless it grenades... then I'll put in another one :evil2: )

My NA was heavily modded with a healthy engine, had extensive weight reduction, slight aerodynamic improvements, and got rodknock after a high speed run to redline in 5th gear. I do not recommend doing anything high speed in your NA supra unless you want to tow the car the rest of the way home and park it for 6 months. Car had full oil, ZERO problems, no signs of rodknock on the climb to 150, and as I slowed back down I could hear the engine knocking. After pulling over the car was chugging and undriveable. Towed 40 miles home and was about 8 months before I was driving it again with the new engine (Now 1jz). Don't make the same mistake I did, enjoy your NA but don't go all out in 5th gear, it puts a lot of unneccessary wear on the engine due to so much time in high rpms. - My .02c

I ran two of my 7MGE W58 Supras up to their limit of about 130 mph. Ran that way for half an hour once in the middle of the night on the way back to Denver, west of Omaha though, on I-70. You could actually see the fuel gauge crawl.

You and your "BHG meters" never protested. Rock solid all the time. Stock cooling system works damn fine when it isn't fucked up. Funny how these threads take me back in the day.

Top speed is 114 mph.

I just did it last night

Elevation? Tune/age? A proper 7MGE W58 Supra will do 130, but not much more. 150 is impossible without a gearing change, and then more power.

I was poking fun at the 1JZ Nick. The ECU has a speed limiter at 180 KM/h, which equates to around 115 MPH.

On a more serious note. When I did have my 7M-GE with a W58 I brought it to around 123 MPH before I chickened out.
