Cannablizing the harness is good. Looking like a hack job is bad. I really do like this unecessary mod. And that isn't normal for me. Great job!

Quick Question, what about the actual IS300 coil pack harness? is it incorporated in the main IS300 engine harness? If not, Could we not just use that since I assume it would already be longer/extended? just wondering.

Thanks

could someone do me a favor and get me the lengths of the plug wires? are they all the same? could you measure just the inside cable(between the ends), and then the overall?

thanks

Yes, make them please... Ill buy them asap.

I made some test passes tonight with the new setup and at around 5000 RPM it sounds like Im hitting the freaking 2 step. I dont know if its the coils or the wires, so im going to start with the wires.

I can't believe how plug and play this is...
I'm in awe at how amazingly simple and ingenious this really is.
Tookwik, you certainly are a god amongst men! ;)
I can't commend you enough on this find, and you shall definitely be remembered for this.

so let me get this straight all i do is lengthen the harness to reach the coils? and the plug wires go in the same place as stock ones? Tukwik can you make a diagram of which cylinders the coils go into and the wires from that coil to whichever cylinder? im sure some people maybe confused other then myself..

Coils go on cylinders 2, 4, and 6. Wires go from 2 to 5, 4 to 3, and 6 to 1.

(At least, this is the 2JZ setup, you could also go 1, 3, and 5 for the coils I would think).

For the best mounting configuration, I put them on 2, 3, &6. But what Jeff stated for the wires is correct.

Without confusing anyone. For Looks only, since it is waste spark fire. It wouldn't matter if I then have the coils mounted on 1st, 2nd and 3rd correct? as long as the wire then goes from 1 to 6, 2 to 5, and 3 to 4? or does where the coil sits in that combination matters? Since the main purpose of this mod is more convenience/cleanliness, then functionality. For me, it would be nice to have them on 1,2,3 or 4,5,6. Off course that's assuming I could find a way to secure them. on those locations. Again sorry if that sounds confusing to some.

PS. I found my coils for $75 all 3 (Used of course)

From what I remember, they just won't fit like that.
