0vac at idle?
1. Verify that you have the CAM timing correct. This will affect everything.
2. Verify your#1 cylinder is at tdc, by removing the #1 spark plug, and placing something like a chopstick in there. Rotate the motor by turning the crank clockwise with a 19mm socket until your reference stick reaches its highest point.
3. NOW verify that the cps is installed correctly.
4. Once you verify the #1 cylinder is at tdc, you can also verify that the crank pulley mark is at zero.
It IS possible to have a bad crank pulley, where the outer section has shifted, and no longer represents tdc.
