timing wont set at 10btdc?

Step 1: Check to make sure shits on there right.
Step 2: Jump TE1 and E1
Step 3: Verify MIL is flashing without codes.
Step 4: Set the timing
Step 5: ?????
Step 6: Profit

ok with the bolt in the middle of the slot its like 25 btdc and i have 0 vac at ilde but my gauge is a pos

If it says 25 and you are in diagnostic mode, the CPS or engine timing is off. And 0 on the factory gauge means the vacuum line is unhooked.

ok now after replaceing the cps and a new turbo to stop the smoke i try to start the car and it starts and dies now it wont start at all and car wont show any codes or even blink when i do the jumper wire? any idea

I managed to get my timing set right after my crank bolt was properly torqued
