Thanks a lot guys for all the comments, and yeah I got pics of the elbow I'll attach them at the bottom of this post.
At this point in time I figured out my ecu power issue which was due to my efi relay not energizing for some reason. I got that problem worked out and I now have power to the ecu. Now onto getting my laptop connected to the stinger:cry:
:1zhelp:
I have no idea what is going on with this thing its a royal pain in my ass:icon_evil. Okay this is what I'm working with I have the PnP harness from driftmotion as well as the usb/serial cable with driver. I'm also using a serial female/female adapter on the stinger since the DM cable is a male serial end.
All com settings are correct and the same, I've also tried different coms. I've messed with the FIFO and buffer settings on the laptop side of things but nothing works the stinger never gets a flashing green. I've tried two other laptops and two other cables that were known to work with other softwares, tried with all the computers every different combo you could think of and I cannot get anywhere.
The stinger is obviously very finicky and doesn't like ease of connection apparently, the closest I have got is with a different laptop and a serial to serial cable. I get the flashing green light showing its connected but the words next to it are either OFFLINE or WRONG ECU. But even that isn't consistent and doesn't always happen.
So my question is what do I do:aigo:?! Is there a certain female/female serial adapter that should be used? This is the one I'm using it was cheap from micro center....
I feel like that may be a partial issue, screwing with any potential connectivity. I don't see why driftmotion would sell a cable that doesn't work with the stinger? And my laptop sees it and installs and unistalls the driver just fine::hang::. It's driving me insane, I've been messing with it for almost 16+ hours and cannot get connected:crazy1:!

O and here is the elbow you guys asked to see off the turbo, definitely turned out very nice...
